Defective Vehicles

Many prosecutions take place under what are known as the “Construction and Use Regulations”.
 
These cover vehicle defects of all types including those carrying endorsement in respect of brakes, lights and steering.

Using a vehicle in a dangerous condition or dangerously overloaded can carry penalty points as can a vehicle with a dangerous load.

Provisions exist to avoid penalty points in certain circumstances and you will need expert help to bring yourself within these provisions.
